Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will delight gamers with a great soundtrack: the composer of the ambitious RPG talked about working on the music

Sandfall Interactive studio has published a new video of their debut project - Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This time the authors of the ambitious role-playing game paid attention to music.
Here's What We Know
The developers of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 introduced the composer Lorien Testard, who said that previously he wrote only short tracks for games, but always wanted to do a full soundtrack, which would include compositions for staged scenes, battles, key moments of the story and finally he had such an opportunity.
Once Lorien published one of his works on the forum and it was noticed by the game director Clair Obscur and invited the composer to co-operation. It should be noted that the choice turned out to be right: the music perfectly emphasises the atmosphere of the game and complements it.
The work on the soundtrack took Lorien Testard about five years and soon we will know the full result of his work, because the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will take place on 24 April 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and will appear in Game Pass.
Flashback
As a reminder, according to the plot of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, every year a mysterious Artist draws a number on a certain monolith and people of that age, as she pointed out, die. This time, she plans to paint the number "33" and to stop her, a campaign is being prepared, whose participants must stop the Artist by any means necessary.
