Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy A26 5G, and a new leak from the FCC confirms the presence of a microSD card slot, which has become a rarity for the brand's smartphones. The device will be available in the UK, Ireland, and probably North America and India.

Here's What We Know

Galaxy A26 5G will have a design similar to the older A36 and A56 5G models. Instead of separate camera rings, the smartphone will have a single main camera unit. The device is expected to retain an affordable price and keep the front camera in a drop-shaped notch, like the previous A25 5G.

Support pages for the SM-A266B/DS model have appeared on Samsung's official websites in the UK and Ireland, confirming its imminent release.

As for the technical specifications, not much is known yet. The FCC has confirmed Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, NFC, and 25W fast charging support, which is used with the Samsung EP-TA800 adapter.

One of the updates is microSD support, which makes the A26 5G unique compared to the A36 5G, which is rumoured to lack this option. If this information is confirmed, the new smartphone will be an attractive choice for users who need additional storage.

New rumours have emerged regarding the device's specifications. The Galaxy A26 5G is expected to have a 6.64 or 6.7-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be equipped with an Exynos 1280 chip, as well as up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A 4565 mAh battery will be responsible for power supply.
