Samsung releases security update for Galaxy A35 in Europe with vulnerability patch for February 2025

Samsung has begun rolling out a new software update for its Galaxy A35 smartphone, released last year.
Here's What We Know
Although many users were expecting an update to Android 15 with One UI 7.0, this time the update only includes a security patch for February 2025. At the same time, it addresses many vulnerabilities, making the device even more secure against various threats.
The update is currently available for the European version of the Galaxy A35 with model number SM-A356B. It can be installed in countries such as Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The new firmware version is A356BXXS4AYB1.
How To Switch It On
In order to update your smartphone, you need to go to Settings, Software Update, Download and Install or download the firmware from reliable sources and install it via Odin on a Windows computer. However, we recommend that you back up your data first, as the second method is more risky and can lead to device malfunctions.
It is worth noting that Samsung is already working on the Galaxy A36, the successor to the Galaxy A35. According to rumours, the new product will have an updated design, a more powerful processor, better cameras, and faster charging. It is expected that the Galaxy A36 will be presented in March 2025, as the Galaxy A35 was released in March 2024.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G may come with memory card support.
