New Apple Intelligence features for Siri may be included in iOS 18.5, but with delays

Apple engineers started testing iOS 18.5 in early February, according to MacRumors. Bloomberg journalist Mark Herman reported that some new Apple Intelligence features for Siri may be delayed or limited to iOS 18.5 due to technical issues and bugs.
Here's What We Know
A new feature for Siri, which was supposed to appear in iOS 18.4, allows the voice assistant to better understand the user's personal context, for example, to take into account their current activities and plans. There will also be improvements in app integration, allowing Siri to provide more accurate answers. For example, at WWDC 2024, Apple showed how Siri can answer questions about a mother's flight or dinner reservations using information from Mail and Messages.
The first beta version of iOS 18.4 is expected to be released this week. While it is possible that some of the Apple Intelligence features for Siri could be included in this version, they will likely be disabled by default. There is also a possibility that these features will appear in the next beta versions of iOS 18.4, giving Apple additional time to fix bugs.
According to Apple's official website, iOS 18.4 is scheduled for release in April, but this date may be shifted due to problems with the implementation of new features. The first beta version of iOS 18.5 is expected to appear in April, and the final version - in May.
To use Apple Intelligence features, users need to have an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model.
