If you picked up Days Gone via PlayStation Plus, you won't be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for $10

Sony announced at State of Play that Days Gone Remastered will be released on PlayStation 5 on 25 April 2025. However, there is some bad news for owners of the game via PS Plus.
Here's What We Know
The updated version of the popular game, released on PS4 in 2019, offers improved graphics, new game modes, and support for the DualSense controller. Players who have the original game on PS4 will be able to upgrade to the remaster for only $10. However, those who received Days Gone through a PS Plus subscription will have to pay the full price of $50.
This decision did not go down well with fans who were hoping for a $10 upgrade. Many players expressed their dissatisfaction in the comments, claiming that they would have been willing to pay $10 for the update.
However, there is a life hack on this topic. Just buy a second-hand Days Gone disc and you will save a lot of money, as discs with the game are given away for $10-30.
In addition to graphical improvements, the updated version of the biker zombie action game (2019) will offer new content, including
- permanent death mode;
- spawn mode;
- extended photo mode;
- additional accessibility settings;
- Horde Assault arcade mode, which will allow you to face even more Infected.
