The world's first triple "clamshell" Huawei Mate XT debuts on the global market: the company revealed the cost and specifications of the device

Huawei held a presentation where it announced the global launch of the world's first triple foldable smartphone Mate XT Ultimate Design, which was previously presented only in China.

Here's What We Know

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design for the global market does not differ in characteristics from the Chinese version: the thickness of the case in the unfolded form is 3.6 mm, and in the closed form - 12.8 mm:

• when folded, the Mate XT has a 6.4″ display with FHD+ resolution (2220 x 1080)
• Half unfolded, the smartphone will offer a 7.9″ display with 2K resolution.
• in the fully unfolded state, the device has a widescreen 10.2″ display with 3K resolution.

The manufacturer didn't reveal the global release date of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design, but noted that it will happen "soon".

The exclusive gadget will be available at a price of €3499.
