Ubisoft is optimistic: an insider is confident that the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows will take place on the specified date
Ubisoft has already postponed the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows twice. Now the release of the action game set in feudal Japan is scheduled for 20th March, but many gamers, watching the problems in the development and numerous scandals associated with the game, are afraid that this date will not be the final one. However, authoritative insider Tom Henderson believes that these fears are in vain.
Here's What We Know
Tom Henderson received information from his own sources, according to which Ubisoft is absolutely sure in the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows on the 20th of March and now there is no reason to believe that this date will be changed. In addition, as Henderson explained, the French developer has already informed the press that they will be able to publish their reviews on 18 March - two days before the game's release.
In addition, Henderson said that gamers have already placed more than 300,000 pre-orders, which is double what Star Wars Outlaws had.
A few days ago, Ubisoft employees revealed that Shadows pre-orders are rapidly approaching the numbers of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which had between 400,000 and 450,000 pre-order copies at the time of release. The company predicts that 3.5 million copies of Shadows will be sold in the first month, and this result would be great if not for the sales figures of Assassin's Creed Valhalla - the game sold around 8 million copies in its first month and became the most successful instalment of the series.
Assassin's Creed Shadows will be available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
