Apple plans to unveil the new iPhone SE 4 at a special event. Only a few hours before the official announcement, protective cases for the new smartphone were discovered on the Alibaba platform, confirming the design previously announced in renders from Spigen.

Here's What We Know

According to the published images, the back of the iPhone SE 4 remains similar to the iPhone SE 3. However, for the first time we see a front camera notch and a very thin bezel at the bottom. The Home button on the SE model has finally been replaced by Face ID sensors, which are integrated into the notch.

Unlike the iPhone SE 3, the new model will probably not have MagSafe magnets for accessories. The presence of magnets in the cases indicates that there may be no magnets inside the smartphone itself.

As for the rear camera setup, it remains very similar to the SE 3 model.

The iPhone SE 4 is likely to have a 48-megapixel sensor on the back (compared to the 12MP sensor of its predecessor) and a 12-megapixel sensor on the front. While this sensor may be smaller than those of more expensive models, its image processing capabilities could be significantly improved, providing greater detail.

The front of the iPhone SE 4 may feature a 6.1-inch OLED display, which will provide better colour reproduction and contrast. The brightness can reach 800 nits in normal conditions and 1200 nits at peak values, which is also an improvement over the previous model.

However, these are just rumours at the moment, so we're waiting for an official announcement to confirm!
