The number of pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Shadows is probably at the level of 300 thousand - rumours

With the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows next month, Ubisoft is reportedly preparing to step up its marketing efforts. The reviews are expected to appear on 18 March, and the publisher has already stated that the number of pre-orders is high, comparable to the number of pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Odyssey in 2018.
Here's What We Know
In terms of numbers, sources told Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson that Shadows currently has around 300,000 pre-orders. Interestingly, Star Wars Outlaws reportedly had less than half of that number in the same pre-launch period. Ubisoft later admitted that the game's launch sales were "softer than expected".
Given that Assassin's Creed Odyssey had between 400,000 and 450,000 players on its first day, Shadows seems to be on track for a similar debut. Whether it can surpass these numbers remains to be seen.
