Due to poor optimisation and PC bugs, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has one of the worst results among Sony's major games

Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which was released on PC on 30 January, became one of the worst launches of PlayStation Studios games on this platform.
Here's What We Know
After the release, the game received "mixed" reviews, which indicates problems with the port. At first, playing Spidey on PC was quite problematic due to bugs and poor optimisation.
The Gamer analysed that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the third worst launch among major PlayStation Studios games on PC, behind only The Last of Us: Part 1 and Returnal.
During the first two weeks, the average number of players was only 13,638, which placed the game in the bottom five Sony titles in this respect. Only Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Returnal, Concord, Until Dawn, and LEGO Horizon Adventures.
Player feedback is also not impressive: after two weeks, the game received only 67% of positive reviews. Only Horizon Zero Dawn (64%) and The Last of Us: Part 1 (50%), although both of these games improved their reviews over time.
A couple of more patches and good discounts may save the situation, which will attract more players, but for now, the PC port of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is really quite bad.
