NetEase confirms dismissal of Marvel Rivals development team in the US: all efforts now focused on China

We wrote that some of the developers of the popular Marvel Rivals were fired. And now NetEase has confirmed it.
Here's What We Know
NetEase has announced the reduction of the Marvel Rivals development team in the United States, citing "organisational reasons" and optimisation of "development efficiency".
In a statement, NetEase said that the layoffs affected the six-person Seattle-based design team. The company assured that the core Marvel Rivals development team based in Guangzhou is "fully committed" to providing the best possible experience for players. They plan to invest more resources in the development of the game by adding new characters, maps, features, and content.
According to Daniel Ahmad, director of research and analytics at Niko Partners, these changes are part of a broader reassessment of NetEase's overseas investments. Earlier, the company stopped funding Worlds Untold and Jar of Sparks studios. So now the company plans to concentrate its efforts in China.
