The European Union has approved the 16th package of sanctions against the aggressor state of Russia and this time it will, strangely enough, directly affect gamers.
Here's What We Know
According to Reuters sources, EU representatives have agreed on new sanctions and among the prohibited goods for delivery to Russia are game consoles and accessories for them.
It is indicated that the Russian army is actively using consoles and controllers to conduct combat operations in Ukraine, primarily to control drones.
The EU is expected to officially announce the introduction of the 16th package of sanctions on Monday 24 February - the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
