Mountaintop studio, which includes game designers who worked on Apex Legends, CS:GO, Overwatch, Valorant and Call of Duty, has revealed the release date for the console versions of the conditional free-to-play online shooter Specter Divide.

Here's What We Know

The developers revealed that the game, which originally released in early September 2024, will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on 25 February.

This will coincide with the launch of Flashpoint's first season, with the main new feature being the introduction of the "Canal" map, a new sponsor, a tweaked battle pass, sprint mechanics, and an improved menu for purchasing weapons between rounds.

The developers will introduce crossplay support in Specter Divide, but at first only PS5 and Xbox Series users will be able to play together, and on PC this option will appear later, as well as support for controllers.

Spectre Divide is characterised by a bright visual style and gameplay, which is reminiscent of Counter-Strike. For destroying enemies you get money for which you can buy weapons and equipment at the beginning of each round. The winner is the one who wins more rounds.
