Ukrainian studio Hologryph has launched an open testing session of the ambitious PvP/PvE shooter SAND in an unusual setting.

Here's What We Know

Previously, only participants of closed testing could get acquainted with SAND, but now everyone can do it. To try out the game, you need to apply in Steam and wait for access.

Gamers note that the developers have not yet managed to fix the performance problems reported by participants of previous tests, but the game works much better and more stable.

Hologryph asks to report all detected bugs in the SAND Discord server, so that the developers can promptly fix them.

Flashback

Recall, in the story of SAND alternative Austro-Hungarian Empire first began to explore other planets and after the planet Sophie was an ecological disaster, the Kaiser of Austria-Hungary persuaded the inhabitants of Galicia (modern Western Ukraine) to go there to build new settlements.

In terms of gameplay, Sand is reminiscent of Sea of Thieves, but instead of sailing ships, the game will feature a desert that was once the bottom of the sea, and a walking vehicle - the Trumpler, which can be operated by a single player or a small company.

Players will have to use the Trampler to travel around Sofia and fight each other for control of the vehicle, in this case firearms similar to the samples of the early XX century will help.

The game looks interesting and has every chance of success.

No release date for SAND has been named yet, but the developers encourage you to add it to your wishlist.
