Following the Galaxy A23, Samsung has released the January security update for another model, the Galaxy A52 5G.

Here's What We Know

This update is available for the SM-A526B variant, which is sold in Europe and the Middle East. The new software comes with the number A526BXXSBGYA3. This firmware closes known system vulnerabilities and no new features are included in this update.

The Galaxy A52 5G was released in 2021 with Android 11 on board. Last year's One UI 6.1 update based on Android 14 was the last big update for this smartphone that brought new features, so the upcoming big One UI 7.0 software based on Android 15 will no longer be available for the A52 5G.

If you're a Galaxy A52 5G user and want to upgrade to the new One UI 7.0 in the near future, then you should consider buying a newer device like the Galaxy A55.
