Crimson Desert looks great: several gameplay clips at once show the high level of the Korean action-RPG
Ambitious action-RPG Crimson Desert is attracting a lot of attention and may become one of the most interesting novelties of 2025. South Korean studio Pearl Abyss doesn't show the game too actively, and the more valuable are the clips from various channels.
Here's What We Know
YouTube channel That's Gaming has published several gameplay videos of Crimson Desert, which show battles with bosses and individual enemies, exploration of locations, the process of changing equipment and nuances of the combat system.
The videos confirm that Crimson Desert is characterised by stunning graphics and deep mechanics. But it should be noted that the Korean action game is extremely similar to many popular modern games, including The Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy XVI, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Dragon's Dogma 2. Whether this is good or bad is hard to say yet, but the game looks great.
When We Can Expect It
The developers haven't given a release date for Crimson Desert yet, but it is known that the game will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
