Split Fiction will be the first game by Hazelight to support crossplay on all platforms

EA and Hazelight Studios have announced details of Friend's Pass and cross-platform play for Split Fiction. This is the first time in the studio's history that the game will have crossplay.
Here's What We Know
Split Fiction, the next game from Hazelight Studios, offers a Friend's Pass feature that allows players who have purchased the game to invite friends to join the co-op game for free. This time around, Friend's Pass includes cross-platform play, allowing players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to play together.
To use the Friend's Pass, one of the players must own the game - either a physical or digital copy. The other player must download the Friend's Pass version on their platform. Both players must have an EA account. The owner of the game can then send an invitation, and once accepted, both players can play the full game together.
If neither of you owns a copy of the game, it doesn't matter. Friend's Pass offers a free trial that covers the beginning of Split Fiction. Both players must download the Friend's Pass version, and if one of them decides to buy the full game, progress will be saved.
Cross-platform play in Split Fiction allows players from different platforms to play together. Although previous Hazelight games did not support cross-platform, Split Fiction will be the studio's first project with this feature.
Split Fiction will be released on 6 March 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will tell the story of two writers who find themselves in the fictional worlds of science fiction and the Middle Ages.
