Deadline reports that Netflix is planning to develop a film based on the popular martial arts game Sifu, which will be produced by Chad Stahelski, known for the John Wick series.

Here's What We Know

The project was first announced in 2022, but now it has received an update. The script for the film is written by T.S. Knowlin, known for his work on The Hunger Games.

Dmitry M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg from Story Kitchen, who have experience in creating video game adaptations such as Sonic the Hedgehog, will also serve as producers.

Details on whether the film will be animated or with live actors have not yet been disclosed. It is also not known who will direct and act in the project.
