Release schedule for all 7 episodes of the second season of The Last of Us TV adaptation
We wrote that the premiere of the second season of The Last of Us will take place on 13 April. However, only the first episode will be released on that day, so when can we expect the rest? We will tell you in this news.
Here's What We Know
The new season will consist of seven episodes that will be released weekly. The first episode will be available on HBO Max and TV channels on 13 April, and the following episodes will be released according to the following schedule:
- Episode 2 - 20 April 2025
- Episode 3 - 27 April 2025
- Episode 4 - 4 May 2025
- Episode 5 - 11 May 2025
- Episode 6 - 18 May 2025
- Episode 7 - 25 May 2025
The plot of the second season will take place five years after the events of the first season, continuing the story of Joel and Ellie. The main characters will return to their roles: Pedro Pascal will play Joel and Bella Ramsay will play Ellie. In addition, the new season will feature a new character, Abby, played by Caitlin Deaver.
This season won't be a full adaptation of The Last of Us Part II, but will reveal many moments that were not shown in the game. The story will be split into two seasons to tell the story in detail about the events and characters.
