The creator of the X-COM series has announced an unusual action strategy game Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids

New game from the creator of the original X-COM series Julian Gollop was announced.
Here's What We Know
Publisher Arc Games and Snapshot Games studio presented Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, a game that combines strategy and action elements.
Julian Gollop explained the choice of genre this way:
'We at Snapshot Games understand how many players love complex real-time strategy games, but we also know from experience that some players like strategy games that are easy to learn, action-packed and fun to play with friends. Working on Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, our goal is to create a dynamic and accessible action-RTS that players can dive into together.
The protagonists of the game will be a guy Chip and his faithful robot assistant Clawz. Together they will fight aliens called The Brainioids.
Players will not only have to participate in dynamic battles, but also build bases, collect resources, direct the actions of allies and coordinate resistance to the alien invaders.
Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids features a story campaign, local and online multiplayer, as well as two-player co-op mode and PvP battles in 1X1 and 2X2 formats.
There will be cross-play between all platforms.
When We Can Expect It
The release of Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids will take place in Spring 2025 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
As part of Steam Next Fest, gamers will be given the opportunity to try out a demo of the novelty.
