Xbox will have a catalogue of games created using generative AI, says Microsoft CEO

On February 20, Microsoft announced its new AI model Muse, which is able to generate game ideas, game visuals, and adapt any game to any platform. And now, one of the Microsoft representatives has revealed that AI will be used more actively in the studio's games.
Here's What We Know
Muse was developed in collaboration with Ninja Theory and uses data from its Bleeding Edge game for training. According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Muse is able to create game elements that are of high quality and variety, and can adapt to player actions and modifications.
Nadella compared the experience of working with Muse to the "amazing moment" he experienced when he met other AI models such as ChatGPT.
And now it has become known that Microsoft plans to use Muse in games, creating a catalogue of projects that will use this technology.
Soon we will have a catalogue of games in which we will start using AI models
"It's very cool... One of the things that we wanted to achieve is that by using gameplay data, you can actually create games that are consistent and then have the ability to generate variety in what that game represents and then are resilient to user modifications," Nadella told the Dwarkesh Podcast.
Although generative AI is becoming increasingly popular in the video game industry, some experts have expressed concerns about the possible consequences for industry workers and copyrights. However, Take-Two Interactive CEO Straus Zelnick believes that AI will not lead to job losses but, on the contrary, may increase employment in the industry.
