Samsung may release its first triple smartphone along with the Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7
Samsung is preparing to unveil its first triple phone, which could debut alongside the Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 as early as mid-2025. This is reported by Korean publication ETNews, via @Jukanlosreve.
Here's What We Know
The device is expected to be called the Galaxy G Fold and will feature a dual folding design for increased durability. Unlike the recently unveiled Huawei Mate XT, which folds outwards, Samsung's triple phone will fold inwards for better screen protection.
The launch of Samsung's triple phone will be made possible by the completion of screen development and the start of parts procurement in April 2025. Sources claim that the mass production of the device will start simultaneously with the production of Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The new device will have a 6.49-inch diagonal external display and will resemble the Galaxy Fold 7's screen, while the main display will measure 9.96 inches.
In addition to this, there are rumours that Samsung is also planning to release a budget version of the foldable phone from the Flip series - Galaxy Flip FE. Thus, the company could introduce four foldable devices at once in July 2025.
