Rumours of an early 2026 PC release window for GTA VI were just speculation, says Corsair

Corsair, a manufacturer of computer hardware and related peripherals, previously suggested that GTA 6 could be released on PCs early next year, but now the company has clarified that these were only its assumptions.
Here's What We Know
Speculation began when Corsair Gaming's CFO Ronald van Veen discussed revenue forecasts during the company's recent earnings call. During the call, van Veen suggested that while GTA 6 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in autumn 2025, a PC version could follow shortly after, in early 2026.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick was cautious when discussing the release of GTA 6 on PC. In a previous interview with IGN, Zelnick admitted that while the PC platform is important to the publisher, Rockstar Games traditionally releases games on consoles before porting them to PC.
Zelnick also predicted that GTA 6 will significantly increase sales of console hardware, especially as the gaming industry is experiencing a decline in console sales. He emphasised that big games like GTA 6 traditionally drive console sales, which will contribute to their growth in 2025.
