A free demo of Gothic Remake has been released on Steam: in Nyras Prologue players will be able to try out the core gameplay mechanics

Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic have released a demo of the remake of the cult RPG Gothic on Steam.

Here's What We Know

The demo is called Nyras Prologue and is basically a small independent story, which precedes the main events of Gothic Remake. The main character will be a convict Nyras, who is in the Valley of Mines to serve his sentence, but does not give up hope of escaping from this place.

Players can try out a limited number of mechanics and gameplay features of Gothic Remake and get an impression of the game.

The demo is available until 4 March (before Steam Next Fest ends).

When We Can Expect It

It is still unknown when Gothic Remake will be released. It is expected to be in 2025.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
