It's official: DC has approved production on the long-awaited sequel to the "Constantine" movie

Keanu Reeves for years dreamed of a sequel to the film "Constantine" (Constantine), which was based on the famous dark comic book Hellblazer and was released in 2005, showing the story of exorcist John Constantine.
Many fans shared the actor's wishes as they were not satisfied with the TV series and animated films. Well, 20 years later, this idea got a chance to be realised.

Keanu Reeves reported that the media company DC received a sample script "Constantine 2" (the name is conditional) and gave an approving response.
Now the famous actor in cooperation with director Francis Lawrence and screenwriter Akiva Goldsman began work on the final version of the plot of the film and in the foreseeable future may start full production of the film.
Reeves stressed that he would like to keep the dark and even a bit scary atmosphere of the first film, and this can't help but please fans of the film, as some scenes even after 20 years look amazing.
