The hearing aid feature in the AirPods Pro 2 is now available in the UK
Last September, Apple announced a new feature for AirPods Pro 2 users - a clinical-grade hearing aid mode. The feature was previously only available in the US, but now users in the UK can also take advantage of it.
Here's What We Know
The feature will be available after updating to the latest software version. Once updated, users will be able to undergo a hearing test that will assess their hearing range. Based on this data, a personalised hearing profile is created that amplifies ambient sounds in real time.
This feature also applies to phone calls, music, videos and games on all paired devices. Apple has confirmed its plans to roll out the feature in more than 100 countries and regions, but it will require approval from local health authorities, as it already has in the US and the UK.
