Raccoon Logic has officially set the release date for Revenge of the Savage Planet. The sci-fi action-adventure game will be released on 8 May. A new trailer with fresh gameplay footage accompanies the announcement:

Here's What We Know

Unlike Journey to the Savage Planet, this sequel switches to a third-person perspective. Players will explore an unfamiliar alien world, trying to find a way back to Earth.

The game emphasises exploration with mechanisms such as scanning alien flora and fauna, encountering strange creatures, and upgrading equipment.

The game supports both local and online co-op, as well as cross-play.
