Jon Bernthal to reprise role of Punisher for Marvel in Special Presentation
Marvel Studios is developing a special presentation about the Punisher for Disney+, where Jon Bernthal will once again play the main role. This information was confirmed by the head of Marvel TV, although the interview was later deleted.
Here's What We Know
Marvel has introduced the Special Presentation format to tell short, self-contained stories without committing to a full series or film.
The first such projects were Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which explored different sides of the MCU. Now, Punisher will be the next character to get a standalone story in this format.
Currently, Bernthal is busy filming Christopher Nolan's Odyssey in Morocco, where he reportedly has a big role. Therefore, it is not yet known when Marvel will implement this project.
