New leaks reveal more information about the upcoming Realme GT 7 and GT 8 Pro smartphones

Realme is gearing up to launch two new smartphones in the GT range - the Realme GT 7 and GT 8 Pro, which will be the successors to the GT 6 and GT 7 Pro models. New leaks from Chinese insiders reveal the key specifications of these devices, which gives an idea of what to expect from these smartphones.

Here's What We Know

According to a leak from insider Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 7 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor that will debut next month. The device will get a battery capacity of over 7000mAh with 100W fast charging support, which will be a significant improvement over the GT 6's 5500mAh. The smartphone will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 8.6mm thick and weighing 206 grams. The GT 7 is expected to be unveiled as early as April.

Another insider, Smart Pikachu, reports that the Realme GT 8 Pro will in turn get a flat OLED display with 2K resolution, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a periscopic camera. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor and will have a battery capacity of over 7,000 mAh. The GT 8 Pro is expected to debut in November, just like its predecessor, the GT 7 Pro.
