It's official: after the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team will continue to collaborate with Konami
After the huge success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, the rumours that Polish studio Bloober Team will continue its cooperation with Japanese publisher Konami and possibly release another remake of the cult series.
The developers didn't comment on the rumours, Bloober Team is willing to continue working on the Silent Hill franchise, but the decision rests with Konami, but today the head of Bloober Team confirmed some of the information.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with Eurogamer portal Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said that his company continues to cooperate with Konami and has already started working on the new project.
Our co-operation with Konami has been incredibly fruitful, and the success of Silent Hill 2 speaks for itself. By sharing knowledge and experience, we were able to create a high quality product together. Of course, we can't reveal too many details right now, but we're sure that fans will be as excited about our collaboration as we are. We can't wait to share something really special with players when the time comes.
Importantly, the new game will also be based on one of Konami's franchises, and the publisher has quite a few of them. But since Bloober Team develops exclusively horror games, we can assume that it will be either a remake of one of Silent Hill parts, or a full-fledged new part of the series.
