Fable won't be out in 2025: Xbox Game Studios head confirms postponement of ambitious RPG

The Fable RPG, which will be a reboot of the once famous franchise created by Peter Molyneux, was announced back in 2020, but Microsoft and studio Playground Games have yet to announce a specific release date for the game.
It was expected that the release of Fable will take place in 2025, but unfortunately, this will not happen.
Here's What We Know
In a new edition of the Official Xbox Podcast, Xbox Game Studios head Craig Duncan revealed that the company has made the decision to delay the release of Fable to 2026.
He noted that Playground is doing a great job and gamers will definitely get a superior RPG. Duncan is convinced that the novelty from the creators of Forza Horizon series will please players with excellent graphics and subtle humour.
Craig Duncan said that Fable is already possible to pass from beginning to end, but it is necessary to devote additional time to polish and remove the remaining bugs.
Fable is announced for release on Xbox Series, PC and Game Pass service, but given Microsoft's new strategy, it wouldn't be a surprise if the game comes out on PlayStation 5 as well.
