11 bit has broken the fourth wall: the studio presented a gameplay trailer of The Alters, in which the game is played by clones of the protagonist

Polish studio 11 bit presented an unusual trailer of their equally unusual game The Alters during IGN Fan Fest event.
Here's What We Know
Viewers were shown a gameplay video of a sci-fi adventure game with survival elements. And what makes this video special is the fact that on the shown shots the clones of the main character go through The Alters and, in fact, control their creator, and at the end of the video, as it will often be in the game, it came to a conflict between the Alters.
The developers showed off a few gameplay mechanics that give a rough impression of The Alters.
When We Can Expect It
Recently, the Polish developers have postponed the release of The Alters indefinitely. The game will be available on MS and consoles, and will also appear in the PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass catalogues.
Flashback
The protagonist of The Alters will be researcher Jan Dolski, who finds himself alone on a hostile planet and in order to survive and leave it he creates his own clones (alters). To do this, he uses technology that "What if...?" - The Alters developers presented a trailer that perfectly illustrates the main feature of the unusual game and, through simulation, creates clones that become what Jan could have become if he had made different choices in life.
Each of the alters has a different view of the events and an opinion on the way out of the situation, so conflicts are inevitable, both between Jan Dolski and the clones, and among the many clones.
