OnePlus has officially announced that the release of the OnePlus Watch 3 smartwatch has been postponed to April 2025.

Initially, the device was supposed to go on sale on 25 February, but the release was postponed due to a typo on the watch case.

Here's What We Know

Earlier, OnePlus acknowledged that its new Watch 3 smartwatch has a well-known spelling error on the back. The brand said that it was ready to accept the return of defective watches without questions. The corporation reacted to the situation with humour, publishing a light-hearted post on social media with the phrase "We've meda mistake!".

The OnePlus Watch 3 offers significant improvements over the previous generation, including increased battery life and improved health monitoring features. However, users will have to wait a few more weeks before they can get their hands on the new product.

The reason for the delay was an error in the inscription on the case, where "Made in China" was printed instead of "Meda in China". In a press release, the company said it was fixing the problem in a new batch of devices. At the same time, pre-orders that started on 25 February remain open, and the first buyers will receive a $30 discount.

OnePlus also guarantees an unconditional refund for those who receive a version of the watch with the wrong inscription. In addition, the company has announced the release of new variants of the OnePlus Watch 3, including an LTE-enabled model and a smaller version of the device.
