Samsung is significantly delaying the release of the stable version of One UI 7, causing user dissatisfaction. Despite announcing beta testing back in early December, no device has been updated to One UI 7 until now. Samsung hasn't even provided a timeline for the release of the new firmware for owners of supported Galaxy devices. However, thanks to a new leak from a whistleblower, it has been revealed when Samsung devices might receive the stable update.

Here's What We Know

Twitter/X user @BuligaDavidCri1 shared screenshots showing the One UI 7 rollout schedule. He claims that this information was provided by Samsung Romania during a meeting at Zoom for the Galaxy S25 workshop. The information reportedly came from Samsung Korea's main division.

According to the screenshots, here's when some Galaxy smartphones will get One UI 7:

Galaxy S series

  • Galaxy S24/S24+/S24 Ultra - starting 18 April
  • Galaxy S24 FE - from 18 April
  • Galaxy S23/S23+/S23 Ultra - from 25 April
  • Galaxy S23 FE - from 16 May
  • Galaxy S22/S22+/S22 Ultra - from 16 May
  • Galaxy S21/S21+/S21 Ultra - from 23 May
  • Galaxy S21 FE - from 23 May

Galaxy Z series

  • Galaxy Z Fold 6 - from 18 April
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5 - from 25 April
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4 - from 16 May
  • Galaxy Z Fold 3 - from 23 May
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6 - from 18 April
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5 - from 25 April
  • Galaxy Z Flip 4 - from 16 May
  • Galaxy Z Flip 3 - from 23 May

Galaxy A Series

  • Galaxy A54 - from 25 April
  • Galaxy A53 - from 16 May
  • Galaxy A34 - from 16 May
  • Galaxy A33 - from 16 May

Interestingly, some newer A-series models like the Galaxy A55 and A35 are missing from the list. Also absent from the screenshots are any Tab series tablets and budget M series smartphones. Although these timelines for the release of the stable update and have similarities with earlier leaks, treat this information with a degree of scepticism. However, if the timing is correct, the start of the release of the stable version of One UI 7 will have to wait for almost 2 more months.
