In Ukraine, more than 200 companies are engaged in the development and production of ground robotic systems (GRS) for various purposes.

Here's What We Know

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that robotic systems have become one of the game changers of modern warfare. According to him, more than 40 Ukrainian developments have already been codified according to NATO standards.

To create an open market for UAS, the government has been working to simplify the regulatory framework and support manufacturers. In short, in early December, the Charter Brigade conducted its first successful fully robotic mission in the Kharkiv sector.

Fedorov emphasised that the next goal is for 100% of logistics tasks at the front to be performed by robots. To achieve this, it is necessary to increase the procurement and supply of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as to gradually eliminate humans from logistics and engineering missions through automated systems.
