A fan mod for Dark Souls 3, developed by modder Yui, allows players to play the game in seamless co-op mode with up to five friends.
Here's What We Know
This mod removes traditional multiplayer limitations such as returning players to their worlds after dying or defeating bosses. Players can now continue the game from the last campfire where they rested, and all dialogue and events are synchronised for all participants. The mod also supports invasions, although this requires a separate option to be activated in the game's settings file.
Although the mod is in alpha testing and contains potential bugs, it is already available for download on Nexus Mods. The developer asks players to report any bugs so that they can be fixed in future updates. The mod does not connect to the official FromSoftware servers, so using it should not result in bans in the game.
