Christopher Nolan wanted to make a James Bond film, but the issue of creative control cancelled everything

After Amazon gained full control of the James Bond franchise, it became known that director Christopher Nolan had previously expressed interest in directing a Bond film, but due to creative control issues, this will not happen.
Here's What We Know
Nolan had intended to direct the film after the release of his film Shadowlands in 2020, but producer Barbara Broccoli denied him the right to final cut, which she has never granted to any director during her tenure as the franchise's director.
So instead, Nolan went on to work on Oppenheimer, which became a huge success and won him an Oscar for Best Director.
Now, Amazon is planning to find a new producer for the franchise, and one of the candidates for this role is David Gaiman, who previously worked on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series. Fans continue to speculate on who will be the next actor to play the role of Bond, with Henry Cavill, Tom Hardy and Idris Elba being named among those who have been suggested.
