Stylish, spectacular, brutal: a short snippet of the Devil May Cry animated series has been published
At IGN Fan Fest 2025, viewers were treated to an exclusive snippet of an episode of the Devil May Cry animated series.
Here's What We Know
In the short clip, Netflix showed the protagonist Dante battling demons that infiltrate and attack the human world.
As in the game, the demon hunter has impressive agility and reaction speed, and in battle he uses not only the Rebellion sword, which he inherited from his father, but also Ebony and Ivory pistols.
The fight turned out to be spectacular and dynamic, and it perfectly demonstrated that Devil May Cry film adaptation fully corresponds to the famous Capcom games.
The series was created by Adi Shankar, the eccentric creator of the popular Castlevania and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix animation projects, and his signature style is evident in every frame.
The Devil May Cry anime will centre on the young and daring demon hunter Dante, the son of the demon Sparda and the angel Eve. He has adopted the abilities of both parents and his soul is torn between the hell and heavenly beginnings.
When We Can Expect It
The Devil May Cry anime will be released on 3 April 2025 and will be available on Netflix streaming service.
