Nintendo and Monolith Soft have unveiled an extensive gameplay trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, a remaster of the 2015 RPG that originally released on the unpopular Nintendo Wii U, but will soon be available on the much more successful Nintendo Switch.

Here's What We Know

The developers showed six minutes of gameplay of Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, paid attention to improved graphics, increased detail, upgraded character editor and modified combat system, as well as talked about other important innovations.

The game will support all the features of the current console, including unique Joy-Con controller functions.

The developers also confirmed that in Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster there will be multiplayer mode for 32 players, in which the success depends on each of the participants. In addition, gamers will be able to take part in special co-operative missions for four people, which involve defeating more difficult opponents.

When We Can Expect It

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch on 20 March 2025.
