Xiaomi presents Redmi Book Pro 14 2025 in China: a new competitor to MacBook Pro 14 with Intel Arrow Lake processors
Xiaomi has announced a new laptop model, the Redmi Book Pro 14 2025, which has received a number of improvements over previous versions.

The novelty is equipped with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2.8K (2880×1800 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which provides high image clarity and smooth scrolling. The display has a brightness of up to 500 nits, which makes it easy to work even outdoors.
Inside, there are new Intel Arrow Lake processors. Users can choose between two options: Core Ultra 5 225H, combined with Arc 130T graphics, or the more powerful Core Ultra 7 255H with Arc 140T graphics. Both chips support the latest technologies and offer high performance for a variety of tasks, from office work to multimedia content and even light gaming.
The Redmi Book Pro 14 2025 offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM operating at 8400 MT/s. Up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, which provides fast access to data and smooth work with large files.
Of particular note is the large 80Wh battery, which provides significantly longer battery life than many competitors in this class, including the MacBook Pro 14. The laptop weighs 1.45 kg, and the body thickness is only 15.9 mm.
The Redmi Book Pro 14 2025 has all the necessary ports for connecting devices: two USB 3.2 Type-A, USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
In China, the laptop will be available starting at RMB 5,699 (~US$783) for the base version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. The top-of-the-line configuration with a Core Ultra 7 255H processor and 32 GB of RAM will cost 6,999 yuan (~$961). There is no information on a possible international release.
