4A Games clarifies the situation with Reburn studio and its shooter La Quimera: no rebranding has taken place and it is a new independent studio

4A Games has officially clarified the situation regarding the new shooter La Quimera and the studio's presence in Reburn.
Here's What We Know
At first, many people thought that the Ukrainian office of 4A Games had changed its name to Reburn. However, this is not the case. Reburn is an independent studio founded by former 4A Games Ukraine developers.
4A Games continues to work on the next Metro game and the new IP mentioned earlier.
Here is the statement:
Congratulations to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters at Reburn on the announcement of La Quimera. Some of the developers are our former colleagues.
To be clear: we have not rebranded or changed in any way. The same founders and the heart of the Metro series continue to work on the next Metro game in our studios in Ukraine, Malta, and remotely. We are also continuing to work on our new IP, which was mentioned in previous news updates. We look forward to celebrating Metro's 15th anniversary in March with you.
As a reminder, La Quimera is a futuristic first-person shooter set in a dystopian future of South America. Players will take on the role of a mercenary armed with advanced weapons and an exoskeleton, who finds himself at the centre of a confrontation between several factions. The game will support co-op for up to three players.
