Developers from Slipgate Ironworks studio and 3D Realms publisher have released a new demo of futuristic real-time strategy game Tempest Rising on Steam.

Here's What We Know

Within Steam Next Fest gamers are offered to try out four missions in "Campaign" mode and three maps in "Skirmish" mode and fight with virtual opponents controlled by artificial intelligence.

Recall, Tempest Rising is the spiritual successor of the forgotten Command Conquer series, which was once the benchmark of the RTS genre.

Players will have to take control of one of the three warring factions and lead it to victory in the war for resources in the post-nuclear world of the distant future.

The developer presented a special trailer, which shows the content of the demo version, which is available until 10 March.

When We Can Expect It

Tempest Rising will be released on April 24 on MS only.
