Ubisoft has unveiled the first gameplay footage of urban strategy game Anno 117: Pax Romana
During IGN Fan Fest 2025 publisher Ubisoft presented the first gameplay footage of the urban strategy game Anno 117: Pax Romana.
Here's What We Know
Ubisoft Mainz creative director Manuel Reinher addressed the audience in a special video.
He reminded that in Anno 117: Pax Romana gamers will have to become governors in two provinces of the Roman Empire in 117 - Lazio and British Albion:
- Lazio is a bastion of culture and civility and will provide players with a measured gameplay without major challenges and the need to think about every move;
- British Albion, populated by barbarians, will be a worthy challenge even for experienced players. The developers jokingly called it "the worst nightmare of every civilised citizen of the Roman Empire".
Unfortunately, the developer didn't provide many details, but the shown shots allow us to appreciate the good graphics and understand the important role of ships in the gameplay of Anno 117: Pax Romana.
Recall, this is the first part of the series, which is simultaneously being developed for MS and consoles.
The release of the strategy is expected in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. Pax Romana is suggested to be added to your wishlist.
