The iconic Gecko is back! Gex Trilogy compilation gameplay trailer unveiled
During IGN Fan Fest 2025 event Limited Run Games confirmed its intention to release a collection of remasters of the once famous series of adventure platformers Gex, the main character of which was a cute lizard.
Here's What We Know
The first game of the Gex series was released in 1995, and its author was the famous studio Crystal Dynamics. This Gecko even became the mascot of the studio.
After 30 years, the public will be offered Gex Trilogy - the collection will include the games Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko and Gex: Deep Cover Gecko. This will not just be a port of classic games to modern platforms: the developers will slightly improve graphics, fix bugs, add a few new features, replenish the repertoire of Gex with a thousand jokes.
When We Can Expect It
The release date for Gex Trilogy is labelled as "second quarter of 2025". The collection will be released on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
