Samsung discontinues support for Members app for Android 7 Nougat smartphones

Samsung has notified users of Galaxy devices running Android 7 Nougat that the Samsung Members app will no longer work. From 1 April 2025, the service will become unavailable on these devices.

This decision is due to the obsolescence of the operating system, which has not been updated for more than 10 years and no longer supports modern features and security requirements.

Samsung recommends that users update their devices to at least Android 8 Oreo or later if possible. Also, for those who want to continue using the Samsung Members app, the company advises to consider replacing the device with a more modern one.
