Poco M7 5G: camera, battery and display specifications confirmed
Poco is preparing for the official announcement of the new Poco M7 5G smartphone, which will be unveiled on 3 March 2025. The Flipkart website is gradually revealing details of the new product, confirming several important characteristics, including the camera, battery, and other features.
Technical Characteristics
The Poco M7 5G will have a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX852 sensor, which will allow recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second. For selfies, the smartphone will be equipped with an 8MP camera.
The new device will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and will have 6 GB of RAM with the possibility of expanding up to 6 GB of virtual memory. The built-in storage will be 128 GB, and the battery will be 5160 mAh, which will provide long battery life. The device will come with a 33W charger, but support for USB-C charging will be at 18W.
Although the company has not yet confirmed the exact version of the operating system, it is likely that Poco M7 5G will run on Android 14. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone will receive two major OS updates and four years of security patches.
The Poco M7 5G is equipped with a large 6.88-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The brightness reaches 600 nits. The smartphone has also received TUV certifications, including TUV Low Blue Light for blue light reduction and Flicker-Free certification, which reduces screen flicker during prolonged use.
Pricing and colours
Poco M7 5G will be available for less than Rs 10,000 in India. The smartphone will be available in three colours: Satin Black, Mint Green and Ocean Blue.
