Honor Magic V Flip 2 may get an older processor than the Motorola Razr+ 2025

Honor is gearing up to launch the second generation of its Magic V Flip 2 foldable smartphone, which will be a competitor to devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7. However, this smartphone may not get the most advanced processor.
Here's What We Know
According to reports from Chinese sources, the new product will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will be an improvement over the previous model equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. However, this chip is inferior to the more modern Snapdragon 8 Elite, which will be used in the Motorola Razr+ 2025 and other foldable flagships.
The Magic V Flip 2 is likely to emphasise on style and design rather than specifications. The device is expected to retain its compact form factor and offer users improved features, but it won't be able to compete with top models in terms of performance.
Honor will also reportedly focus on developing a more powerful Magic V4 flagship, which will get advanced technologies including a periscopic zoom lens. The Magic V Flip 2 is slated for release in mid-2025.
