Sony has updated the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach page on the Playstation website and published some new screenshots.
Here's What We Know
The company reminded that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released in 2025 and will be a direct sequel to the famous 2019 game from Hideo Kojima.
The protagonist Sam Porter Bridges (Sam Bridges) and his girlfriend Fragile will continue their work to unite disparate settlements into a single network, but this time they will not be limited to former US cities and will enter other territories of the American continent.
As in the first part, the players will face a huge open world, filled with various dangers, including otherworldly entities.
At the moment Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is announced as a Playstation 5 exclusive, but there is a high probability that the release on other platforms will not have to wait long.
As a reminder, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be unveiled at the SXSW 2025 festival on the 9th of March.
