Philips Hue Bridge gets an update: performance and stability improvements

Philips has released an update for its Hue Bridge smart hub. The firmware 1969152010 started to be delivered to users on 27 February. This is the second update in 2025, but it contains only minor changes.
Here's What We Know
The company notes that the update is phased in and automatically installed on most devices. The main focus is on improving performance and stability, but the details of the changes are not disclosed. There are no new features in this update.
The previous version of 1969060020, released about a month ago, brought improvements to motion sensors and an update to Twilight, which helps you fall asleep and wake up with controlled lighting.

Users are still waiting for the fire alarm sound recognition feature that was announced earlier. It should allow Hue Secure cameras to respond to the alarm and send notifications via the Philips Hue app.
The update is installed automatically if this option is enabled in the Philips Hue app settings (Settings > Software Update > Automatic Update).
The Philips Hue Sync app is available for LG TVs. Starting 25 February 2025, LG TV owners can download the Philips Hue Sync TV app. This app allows users to synchronise the lighting in their homes with what they see on the screen. Previously, the ability to use Hue Sync was limited to Samsung TVs.
