At MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Nothing showed the new Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro models, which will be officially announced tomorrow, 4 March. These smartphones have an original design and offer a new approach to the mid-range segment that differs from industry standards.
Here's What We Know
Nothing is known for its ability to break the rules, and the new models are no exception. While the Nothing Phone (1) and its successor (2) were already quite innovative, the new models take an even bolder step forward.
The Nothing Phone (3a) features a camera that resembles the design of the Google Pixel, with a red accent on the transparent back. The Phone (3a) Pro has a more random camera arrangement, which adds to the unique design. Although the bright lighting at the company's booth made the colours hard to see, the Pro model promises to come in a stylish grey colour, and also has a black variant.
In addition to its unusual appearance, the Phone (3a) has an interesting button arrangement on the side panel - a black button block with a volume control, power button and a special button for the camera.
As for the Glyph Lighting, which has become a signature feature of the brand, both phones will have an interface with customisable LEDs on the back, however, the functionality will only be presented at the upcoming announcement.
